Pinewood Dental is a participating Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) provider. Explore our treatments and approach to dental care.
Plus: for a limited time, new patients receive a FREE electric toothbrush!
You can only access CDCP coverage once you’ve registered. Not sure if you qualify? Visit the official program page to learn more and start your application.
Thanks to the CDCP, more Canadians like seniors, children, and people with disabilities are able to access dental care. We’re contributing to that, helping you access essential treatments that keep your teeth and gums healthy.

The coverage you receive is based on your family’s net income. Below $70,000, all eligible treatment costs are mostly covered. For family incomes between $70,000 and $79,999, 60% of eligible costs are covered. For incomes between $80,000 and $89,999, 40% of eligible costs are covered. For full details, please refer to the program’s official coverage guidelines.
Generally, if you’re eligible for coverage through a plan provided by your employer, school, spouse, or family member, you can’t use the CDCP. However, some individuals may still qualify for CDCP coverage if they’re receiving assistance through government social programs or if they’ve permanently opted out of their pension benefits. For complete details, please visit the program's official eligibility page.
It's recommended to call ahead, even if you're already registered with the CDCP. This ensures that - whether you require routine or emergency care - you can confirm that a doctor or hygienist will be available to assist you once you arrive.
